Parking and Directions

Follow the directions below from Downtown Chicago:

Take I-90 West toward Rockford

Exit at IL-31/IL Route 31, go South on 31

Turn right on Big Timber Road

After 7 miles, the entrance to Indian Hills Farm will be on your right.

Just follow the volunteers to the appropriate parking area and prepare to get muddy!


Saturday Packet Pick-up

Saturday Packet Pick-up will be held at REIi from 12pm – 4pm on May 31st

Please note that a photo ID will be required to pick up your packet. You will not be able to pick up another person’s packet, nor will another person be able to pick up yours (Guardians may pick up packets for their minors). Packet pick-up is also available on Sunday morning from 7:00 AM – 10:45 AM at Indian Hills Farm in Gilberts, IL.


3 Mile Course Information

Description

Mile 1

The first mile of the race is flat and fast. Runners will race through a large field and across a bridge over the 91 Highway before turning down a dirt trail and heading deep into the farm.

Mile 2

The course explores all that the farm has to offer taking runners up and down rolling hills, around ponds and through horse pastures.

Mile 3

Runners head back down the flat dirt path, over the bridge, down Powers road and into the main event field where it is time to get MUDDY!

6 Mile Course Information

Description

Mile 1

The first mile of the race is flat and fast. Runners will race up the ramp of the large barn and out the back side and then carry on through a large field and across a bridge over the 91 Highway before turning down a dirt trail and heading deep into the farm.

Mile 2

6 milers will continue on with rolling hills before they split from the 3 mile course just past the first farm house.

Mile 3

The course follows the perimeter of the Hay fields. This is a good time to kick in the after burners and make up some distance.

Mile 4

After running through a small stream racers will continue through the Hay fields before coming upon a second farm house and pond.

Mile 5

The 6 mile course meets up with the 3 mile course just in time to explore all that the farm has to offer, looping around ponds, past barns and farm houses and through a hose pasture.

Mile 6

Runners head back down the flat dirt path, over the bridge, down Powers Road and into the main event field where it is time to get MUDDY!
